A RESOLUTION PROCLAIPIING A SPECIAL CITY ELECTION, TO BE
HELD OPI SEPTEMBER 3, 1982, DESIGNATING THE POLLING PLACES,
DESIGNATING THE REGISTRAR AND DEPUTY REGISTRARS, AND ORDERING THE
CITY CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE OF SUCH ELECTION.
BE I^t RESOLVED BY THE BIAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
REXBURG, IDAHO, THP_T:
Section 1. The special city election will be held in
and for the City of Rexburg, Idaho, on the 3rd day of September,
1982, at which time the electorate will vote on an override
election for pOLICE: Patrol Car $ 9,500 SNOGT REMOVAL:

FIRE: Airpacks & 2,500 DEFICIT: 25,000

POOL: General Expenses 5,000
Streets: Street Repair &

Section 2. The following a re designated as the polling
places for such elect ion:
FOR THE FIRST PRECINCT: Adams School
110 North 2nd East
FOR TIIE SECOND PRECINCT: Washington School
110 West Nlain
FOR THE THIRD PRECINCT: Erickson Pontiac
221 West 4th South
FOR THE FOURTH PRECINCT: Lincoln School
358 East 2nd South
Section 3. That Rose Bagley, City Clerk, is hereby
designated as Registrar and the following as Deputy Registrars:
Nancy Ottosen, Deputy City Clerk; First Precinct, Verna
Henderson, 36 East 2nd North; Second Precinct, I:athy Donahoo, 257
Mary Ann; Third Precinct, Joan Brunson, 147 South 1st West; and
Fourth Precinct, Lynn Haberlie, 453 Lincoln.
Section 4. The Cleric, for and on behalf of the Mayor
and Council, shall give public notice of the time and place of
holding such special city election by posting such notice in
three public places or publishing such notice in at least two
issues of the Standard-Journal, a newspaper printed and published
in the City of Rexburg, Idaho, the first publication of such
notice to be made not less than 45 days previous to the date of
such city election and the last publication not less than 15 days
previous to the election. The notice so published shall state
the places of registration and the name of the Registrar and the
Deputy Registrar, and the requirements for registration of
electors at such city and such other information as may be
necessary to give full facts of such election and registration;
said notice to contain such facts and be given in accordance with
the requirements of Section 50-436 of the Idaho Code.
PASSED by the Council this 15th day of July, 1982.
