LETTER FROM MADISON SCHOOL DISTRICT 11321 April 23, 1970 Wayne Allen, Chairman Rexburg City Planning Commission City Hall Rexburg, Idaho ~,"""~' The Bpard" of~ ~Frt~tees of Madison School District (1321 meeting in special sessioir on Mond~y evening, April 20, passed the following re- solution. 1NIIEREAS, the Board of Trustees of Madison School District 11321 was desirous of locating a new High School outside the commercial' `" zone of the city and 1VHEREAS, the site for the proposed new High School is now adjacent to only residentially zoned property, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Board of Trustees request the Rexburg City Planning Commission and City Council of Rexburg, Idaho to consider denying any and all petitions requesting a reclassifica- tion from residential to commercial zone of any adjacent and nearby properties to the site of the proposed new I-Iigh School. The Board of Trustees would appreciate no reclassification of any nearby properties until there could be an assessment of need for such change which would be some date in the far future.'.
