Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Webster and seconded by Councilman Zollinger that the City Council
resume its regular order of business, which motion was carried by the unanimous vote of the Council-
men, and the City Council tYrereupon resumed the regular order of business.
Thereupon Councilman Anderson introduced the following resolution and rnoved its adoption:

ON JUNE 28th, 1960,~'ON TI~(~UESTION OF ISSUl~iG P~IUIdICIPAL COUPON

ITHEftEF.S, the city council. of the Cit~,r of Rexburg, Idaho, ai a regular meeting thereof' duly and
regularly held as required by law on Sdednesday, the 6th day of July, 1960, did publicly open the
returns and canvass the votes of the special bond election held in the three municipal wards thereof
on the 28th day of Jurie, 1960, to vote on the question of issuing municipal cou,~on bonds in the
amount of 'ft~renty•Eight Thousand Dollars (a>28,000. 0) to provide funds for the purpose of improving
the Arthur Fox•ter, Jr., Public Park by'completion of the swimming pool located therein.

Section T. That it is hereby declared that the result of the canvass of the votes of the special
bond election held in the City of Rexburg, Idaho, in the three municipal wards thereof, on Tuesday,
the 28th day of June, 1960, is as Follows: .
In favor of issuing bonds in the amount of ~p28,000.00 ..................... 268
Against issuing bonds in the amount of :1;2$,000.00 ......................... 84
Total vote cast in attire City in the three municipal wards thereof........ 352
Section 2. That the sand question so voted upon at said special bond election is hereby declared
to have been duly carried by more than a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the qualified electors who are
` taxpayers in said City in the three municipal wards thereof, voting at said election, and that the
right and power was given to `said City to issue bonds in the amount of X28,000,00.'
Section 3• This resolution shall take effect and be in full force after and frdm its passage and
approval
Councilman Klingler seconded the adoption of the foregoing resolution and the same :dn being put to a
vote, was unanimously .carried by the affirmative vote of all c ouncilmen presents' fi e vote being
as follows:
