RE: Possibilities of resurfacine; airport runway and obtaining government participation. John Porter said he had talked to Cl?et T~4oulton, State !'aeronautical Director at Boise, and thet he yeas very discoura=;ing about resurfacing the runway at the airport or o.f obtain-nR funds for government participation. ftovrever, -?r. 14ou1ton said he would. come to Rexburg, November 14th, and go over the vrhole matter with the Council and Airport Board, representatives of the Civ9.1 Air Patrol and any others who are interested in the improvement at the airl_~ort. RE: fig3' Rasmussen's salary raised. Jolm Porter moved officer Kay Rasmussen's salary be raised to "1290.00 per month, effective next pay da.y. Zollinger to contact the Lions Club and request them to nut up a fence immediately around. the excavaiion for the sv.~imming pool as it creates a definite hazard in its present condition. t'?r. The kind and character of said improvements is the construction a.nd installation of sanitary sewer laterals and the restoration of street surfaces wherever necessi~ta.ted by reason o£ the construction asld installation of said sanita_;~* sewer 1a.ier-<? s. Section 3. The said iml,.rovements are original. Section 1i.. The estimated total cost and expenses of said district and of-.said ].mpi•ovements are ijj~50,000.00. Section 5. The P4ay-or suggested that the City Attorney contact Talmadge and Talmadge Dond Attorneys at Denver and asl< them to approve the proceedings for L.I.D. Number 5. RE: Claims.
