Chas Zolinger met tivith the council and requested that the Shell Oil Co.
I3e permited to use,. or install gutter on main fit. south of their property
Using a ten inch cover-plate in the place of fife reg~?.lation size; af8rer
some discussion the to visit the propert;;~ in question and after viewing
t'ae proposed gutter decided that it would be necessary for the said
company to install the regulation size gutter.
Dave i~.anwearing Ianage-r of the Tdelaon Ricks Company, met with the council
and offered _plans whereby the Edelson Ricks Co. could by installing certain
puapinv° plants, return a portion of tine water now being used in their
cooling plants, there by saving water and cutting their operating expence.
1^ile matter was refired to the water cormmittee.
Councilman F.D.helley moved that the following resolution be passed by the
Council,
R E S O L U T I O N
',`Fi~REAS, The City of i~exburg has under consideration the execntmon of a
Supplemental agreement modifying that certain Streeu °' ;~ t-~?~.traet
tivith the Utah sewer and Light Company, dated Decei:,~:. IBth. I929,vrhich
will temporarily reduce thennmber and size of lamps provided for in said
contract, thereby permiting a saving to the ci'ky in the cost of one rating
its street lighting system during the term provided for ii1 the said
s»pplemantal agreement;
