iiore :~ than a majority of the whole number of members elected to the City Council having "'``
voted "yea", the mayor declared the motion carried, the resolution adopted, and the execution of the
contract duly authorized. !
The foregoing minutes were thereupon read by the City Clerk and a vote was tai~en on the
approval and adoption thereon, and the sane were duly adopted by unanimous vote of tiZe members of
the Cour_cil present, as aforesaid.

4tiFIERLAS, `Phere was submitted to the Mayor and Council of the City of Rexburg, at a duly
convened meeting apro-posed contract with the Utah Power and Light Company, by the terms of tf~aich
said Company agrees to furnish electric energy for street lighting purposes upon,tes^rns and conditions
as therein hilly set forth, which said contract is believed to be a fair one, and one which it is
adviseable for the said City to enter into:
TIiERI;FCitl, BE IT RESCLVED, `That the i4iayor of the City of Rexburg., be, and he is hereby
authorized in his oi'fieial capacity to execute said contract in duplicate, and the City Glerk
is hereby authorized and directed to attest, counter-sign, and affix the corporate seal to said
duplicates oi' said contract, ~rhen said contract is so executed and when properly executed by
the proper offices•s of said Utah Power and Light Company, the said City Clerk is instructed to
retain one of said duplicates as part of the records of his office and to deliver the other
to said Utah Power and :Light Company.

convened meeting, a proposed contract with the Utah Power and Light Company by the terrns`~ of '
which said Company agrees to iurzush electric energy i'or the purpose of operating the City Pump
uuon texsns and conditions as therein fully set i`orth, which said contract is believed to be a
fair one, and one vihici2 sa it is adviseable for said City to enter into:
T1IL'R:e;I+'CRE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the IUlayor of the City oI' Rexburg, be, and he is hereby
authorized in his official capacity to execute said oontract in duplicate and tine City Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to attest, counter-sign ands affix the corporate seal to said dup=
licates oi' safe contract. PJhen said contract is so executed and when properly executed by- the
proper officers of the said Utah Power and Light Company, the saise City Clerk is instructed to
