meeting was called to order.-by .the I~.2ayor and. the Clerk vras instructed to call the roll.

Councilman R. ~. Archibald the r. introduced and moved the adopticr~ of the fol-
lowing resolution:
RESOLUTION.
" P. RESOLUTION' AU THORIZING A N-EW CON TRACT WI I'N_ Try F.ANCII-L+ TT BOND COJPANY, con-
cerning the sale of bonds for Lateral Sewerage Improvement District No, 2,
" Whereas, onthe 28th day of April., 1926, the Hanchett Bond Company of Chicago,
made apronosal for the purchase of bonds for Lateral. Sewerage Improvement District No.
of the City of Rexburg, and
YVHEREAS, the said P~ayor and Council authorized the acceptance of said pronosal.,and
WI~REAS contract was made a'it;h the Haneliett Bond'.Comnany for the purchase of
said bonds, and
WHEREAS in the said contract referred to the said bonds were designated as
Special Assessment Improvement Bonds, maturing serially in from: one to ten years and no
accrued interest is provided for by sa9.d contract, and
WHEREAS the only form of bond that can be legally issued. by said Improvement

WFIGREhS it is for the best interests of the tax payers that accrued int-

WHEREAS it vaas the intention of the parties that the Eighty (~p80.00),
Dollars provided for ir. hbP old contract was for the purpose of securing a fiscal
agent to represent the said City in the sale of said bonds,
NOW, TII~REFORL+',BE IT RESOLVED
1. That a new contract be authorized With the said Hanchett Bond Com-
par_y px•ovirling for the sale of said bonds at par.
2. That Andrew F. Foreman be appointed the fiscal agent for said City
to find a purchaser for said issue of bonds and that said fiscal agent be allowed
eight (~} per cent of the bor..d issue for his services as said agent.
3. 2'hat the I~4ayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign said contract
