Boyle Marsha Bjornn Bruce Sutherland Farrell Young Nyle Fullmer Kay Beck Glen Pond Rose Bagley Stephen Zollinger A motion was made by Bruce Sutherland and seconded by Nyle Fullmer to approve the minutes. All Aye RE: NEW GARBAGE TRUCK BID APPROVED TOPIC: (22,3,,,GARBAGE TRUCK,SANITATION DEPT.,STREET DEPT.) The mayor reported that we opened the garbage truck bid. The bid was $124,950 which is about 7 1/2~ more than it was three years ago. Vikkers was the low bidder. A motion was made by Bruce Sutherland to accept the bid. Seconded by Nyle Fullmer. All Aye RE: GOLF BOARD DISCUSSION ON NEW MEMBER TOPIC: (22,3,,,G0LF BOARD,GOLF COURSE) Nyle Fullmer reported on the Golf Board meeting. They are working to try to establish some policies and procedures to try to set some guidelines for future golf boards. There are two vacancies on the board. His recommendations is that we still have five members on the board as well as the representatives from the city and county. They will start operating much as the other committees like the Airport Board where the representative from the city and the county are non voting members. Right now it is written in the policy that those representatives are voting members. They recommended four names for the board. Clyde Nelson was their first choice, John Lewis was the second choice and they recommended Denys Wheeler and Mindy Virgin. The mayor stated that we need to draw up a description of the duties of the golf board. Discussion on the number of members on the board and whether or not to have the representative from the city, county voting members and the authority of the board members. It was decided to table a decision until the next meeting. A motion was made by Nyle Fullmer and seconded by Farrell Young to pay the bills. A11 Aye Bruce reported on the Planning & Zoning Meeting. RE: DISCUSSION ON POOL AND SLIDE TOPIC: (22,4,,,RECREATION,POOL,PARK) Marsha discussed that she thought we need to think about selling the elide to Idaho Falls. Nyle felt we need to see if the the Perrys want to run the pool with no subsidy or liability from the city pending legal advisement from our attorney. Marsha also felt we need to be prepared to tear the slide and pool down. She asked if there is Ice Tea Money available who will write the grant? The mayor said we can write it if we get the easements. Joe and Val are the ones that do the most work with the figures.
