RE: SPECIAL PROSECUTOR FOR A BATTERY CASE
TOPIC: (22,2,,,ZOLLINGER*STEPHEN,PROSECUTOR,COURT)
Stephen Zollinger asked the council to approve his approaching the
courts to appoint a special prosecutor for a Battery Case that is going
to a jury trial for an individual he represented. He is in a position
that he cannot be the prosecutor. On standard trials, the county has
been very good to just take them for us and he has done the same for
them, but on a jury trial the time is too great for the county to want
to give up one of their prosecutors. He suggested that he would
suggest three names to the court and let the court appoint the
prosecutor. A motion was made by Nyle Fullmer and seconded by Glen
Pond to allow a special prosecutor to be appointed for a Battery Case
that is going to a jury trial. A11 Aye
