RE: SIDEWALKS
The mayor assigned Kay Beck to the Sidewalk Committee and felt the
council needed to give him some direction as to what we wanted to do
with sidewalks. There are a lot of areas that do not have sidewalks
and need them. Jim said it is one of the biggest complaints we have,
and suggested that the committee was to find ways to get neighborhoods
to get excited about putting sidewalks in and finding their own ways
and solutions rather than us forcing the solution. Glen suggested that
we had discussed that they don't have to have a sidewalk in a straight
line, they could be creative.
