Minutes of the City Council Meeting

A meeting of the City Council for the City of Rexburg, Madison County, held November
6, 1985, at the City Hall..
Present were the following: Mayor: John C. Porter
Councilman: Jim Plorris
Glen Pond
Nile Boyle
Morgan Garner
Councilwoman: Darlene Blackburn
Also Present: Rose Bagley, City Clerk
Richard Horner, Treasurer
A motion was made by Jim Morris and seconded by Nile Boyle to approve the minutes.
All Aye.
The council canvassed the votes of the election of November 5, 1985.

The council found no discrepency in the tally of the votes. A motion was made by Glen
Pond and seconded by Jim Morris to approve the vote tally as reported. All Aye.
RE: CITY STREET FINANCE REPORT
The mayor gave the council a copy of the City Street Finance Report. After discussing
it, a motion was made by Nile Boyle and seconded by Darlene Blackburn to approve the
report. All Aye.
RE: NEW DRIVEWAY ON EAST 1ST SOUTH
Mayor orter sai tat at an an agan at the corner of East 1st South was in the
office. They are going to rent their house and want to put in another driveway so
cars can park on the north of the house. When 2nd East is done we would put in a
curb cut, but they want to put the driveway in now and nut in pipe at the curb so
they could now put the driveway in. The council agreed that it would be okay. They
will get it set up about the 18th.
RE: AIC LEGISLATIVE MEETING
The mayor told the council that the AIC Legislative meeting will be held on November
20, at 6:30 P.M. in Idaho Falls, so we will have to change the council meeting to
either Wednesday morning or Tuesday night depending on what needs to be on the agenda.
Some scouts were at the council meeting.
A motion was made by Jim Morris and seconded by Darlene Blackburn to pay the bills.

A motion was made by Glen Pond and seconded by Jim Morris to adjourn. All Aye.
