AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE JOINT WATER AND SEWER .SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, Idaho: PROVIDING FOR THE CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION AT WHICH THERE SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY THE QUESTION OF ISSUING JOINT WATER ANS SEWER REVENUE BONDS AND THE QUESTION OF ISSUING GENERAL OBLIGATION WATER BONDS OF THE CITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFRAYING WHOLLY OR IN PART THE COST OF IMPROVING, BETTERING AND EXTENDING THE CITY'S JOINT. WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM; PRESCRIBING DETAILS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; RATIFYING ACTION PREVIOUSLY TAKEN CONCERNING THE SYSTEM, THE ELECTION AND THE BONDS; AND PROVIDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. A motion was made by Ruth Smith, seconded by Richard L. Davis to suspend the .rules and have said Ordinance placed upon its final passage. The Mayor ordered the roll call of the Council called, and the roll being called by the City Clerk for the suspension of the rules was as follows; Those voting Aye: Richard L. Davis Ruth Smith Albert Pieper Glenn Peterson Barton Jensen Warren Porter Those voting Nay: None Those Absent: None The roll being called and all Councilmen present voting "AYE" carried. The Mayor then called for the voting for final passage of the Ordinance, the motion was made by Albert Pieper seconded by Warren Porter, The Mayor ordered the roll call of the council called, and the roll being called by the City Clerk for the final passage of the Ordinance was as follows: Those votgin:-AYE:. Richard L. DAvis Ruth Smith Albert Pieper Glenn Peterson Barton Jensen Warren Porter The roll being called and all councilmen present voting "AYE" carreid, the Mayor declared that a majority of all the members of the City Council voted for the passage of said Ordinance and that said Ordinance was duly and regularly passed.
