RE: BIRCH GOLD APARTMENT FINAL PLAT REVISION TOPIC: (500,251,,,BIlZCH*DEAN,FARMER*ROSS,BENSON*GEORGE,2ND WEST, 3RD SOUTH, APARTMENTS,PLATS) John reviewed the final plat revision for the Birch Gold apartments submitted by George Benson and now owned by Ross Farmer. John explained the change, when George went to lay out the buildings he discovered there was approximately 10 feet less. property than anticipated which caused the need to rotate the future building . The change was not significant, mostly in the parking lot, but enough to need approval from the Board. Joe Laird has noted some needed areas on his review which are written on the plan. There was some discussion concerning the garbage container, lighting in the parking lot, parking spaces and landscaping. Motion to approve the amended- site plan as per the noted engineering comments was made by Mike Thueson, seconded by Ted Whyte. All voted aye, none opposed. John and Stephen conducted a workshop on Variances. ~d o~ During the discussion it was suggested that Davawn, Gary and Stephen each come up with a suggested description of landscaping which would include a certain percentage of growing and living vegetation. It was also suggested that as far as possible all public hearings be held on the 2na Wednesday of each month with the 4t'' Wednesday being used for training and work meetings as needed. Davawn requested that the next workshop be specifically directed to enforcement of the City ordinances. Donna invited anyone wishing to attend to the Downtown Revitalization meeting to be held tomorrow, Thursday, May 25 at 8:00 at the Chamber office. Meeting was adjourned. i.
