RE: FENCE ON MILLHOLLOW
The members discussed the fence that Michael G Day had put across what
appeared to be a right-of-way for a bike path behind his home on
Millhollow. John Millar said he checked the final plot plan and found
the fence is built across city property. The members agreed that the •
City Attorney should write him a letter telling him he would have to
move the fence from the city property.
RE: SUNRISE SUBDIVISION
Bill Henderson was at the meeting for a preliminary review of a plot
plan for a new sub division, Sunrise Subdivision located south of Park
Street and west of 5th West. Mr Henderson said there is a street
running in front of the Park Street Church which would allow for an
entrance and exit to the sub division. Larry Mower from the Church
Realty told them they understood it was a city street in front of the
church, but the city needed to except it as a dedicated street. The
lots will be 90 x 120 and 100 x 140. It will have the same covenants
a.s the Starlite Addition, with homes in the $80,000 price range with
two car garages. Mr Henderson requested that the zoning be changed
from R2 to R1. He said he would get a letter from the church about the
street. John Millar said it looked good next the P & Z would need a
Preliminary Plot Plan. This property was before the city in 1978 for
a Sub Division and called the Zackerson Property. The commission
thought Park Street should be re-zoned to R1 as well as the property
for the subdivision. Park Street is now R2 and the Starlite Division
is Rl. A motion was made by Jim Long and seconded by Chris Mix to
recommend that the property for the Subdivision and Park Street be
rezoned to Rl from R2. All Aye

Ordinance and she is going to come up to Rexburg and look around and
see if she can help revise the ordinance. She will then meet with the
Planning & Zoning and go over it. John Millar said he was going to
call her a nd go over it with her.
RE: STEVE CLARK CODISTRUCTION
The Planning Commission discussed the Steve Clark construction. They
are concerned that the construction is not up to standard. Mike Larson
said if it is build to code it should be safe and if not we need to
advise him it will have to be brought up to standard. Chuck Frost said
if it is obvious that it is a hazard~we can condemn it. Chuck said the
city attorney needs to write a letter to Mr Clark and go on record that
the construction is substandard and if it is not brought up to standard
we will put a stop order on it. Glen~Bean said he would bring a list
into Rose of the things that are substandard.
RE: HOUSE FOR FIRE TRUCK
The Planning and Zoning discussed the building that has been built on
the Tabernacle property to house the fire truck. They are oppose to
the building being built at that location. Jim Long recommended that
it be brought up for discussion as to how the building was approved
without going before the Planning & Zoning seconded by Chuck Frost.
