Those Present: Charles Frost -Chairman Chris Mix was excused, Glen Pond Gerald Taylar i~rarTr Lee Hill Bcb Purr in~rton Chuck Porter -?'Sew P7ember The rneetin~ was called to order by Charles Frost. minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. He reported that Clint Parkinson had withdrawn the request he had made at the last meeting. also that the n_:l.at presented bzr Blair Manwarng and Dave }3entan had been approved bar the City Council. The. first item of net~r business was concerning the peop?.e that have a business in their homes. There haTrebeen severa]_ requests, CharlPS Frost reverted for peop~:e to have a business temporarily in their homes and soma of the .requests have been for a permanent business ~.n areas that are zoned R.l and R2. One of these requests was from Mr. ~ianos~e~r on West l~Iain ~~,rho is currently operating his business aut of h_s home. He is looking for space in a commercial zone but as yet ha,s not been able to locate one. In the meantime he does have clients coming to h~_s home, Nile Bo rle of the Cit•T;~ Council has recieved some ~ompla.ints, He has. talked to Mr, Hanosky and he has said that he is anxious to come into compliance and is diligently looking for same business space. Gae 'dorsleT was ir1 attendance, she explained that she is stGrting her own weight loss. program. She reported that she .had purchased the. home at 10,5 W. Main to use as Yrer place of business but that in the meantime,. while the have is being refurbished, wkrieh will be for a month or six weeks, she would like permission to conduct her business from her home on Flrn ?treet, She told: the Plarrning Roard that there u*ould not be aloe of` people coming to her home and that the neiffhbors were the people interested in her program and that she did not feel that there would be aniT problem with them objecting to her having it in her home for this len~Yth of time. She said an~j advertising that was done would be connected with the address on W, Main, where she will be conducting her business as soon as the work an the home is completed.. And if the property owner ?rants to change the use of the property that it taould be considered on a case by case basis using the appli_caL1e zoning regulations.
