Chuck Frost reviewed the minutes of the last meeting, the Sub-division
Plat for H & R Development out by the golf course. They were going to
propose to be annexed, Chuck asked if the City Council had taken care
of it. It was reported that they were moving along on it, a decision
for annexation had not been arrived at. The minutes were approved as
summarized.
Chuck reported that there were two items on the agenda for tonight, one
is Dr. Crandall & Dr. Workman who want to talk about a Dr. office on
the corner of P~Iair. and Ash, and the other is Bob Francis and Jeff Teeples
want to develop a Columbia West Recreation Facility.
Dr. Crandall showed the Commission the plans they had drawn up. He said:.
he had talked to Mary Lee Hill and she suggested he talk to Chuck Frost
which he did, Chuck explained to h:~:n the requirements for such a project.
They did not have a formal .plan, just one drawn by them to get the
feeling of the board on placer~ier_t of the building on the Iot and the
parking. They wanted to be sure their plan met with the boards approval
before having an architect draw the plans.
Chuck said he felt it ~~~as the feeling of the board that it was a good
project and that the board would not have to vote on it since there was
no variance.
Since the people from the other project were not in attendance, no
action was taken.on it.
Chuck asked Glen Pond to bring us up to date on ~e discussion at the
last City Council meeting or. trailers, and choosing the committee and
what is going to happen on that, and if there is anything else needed
from the Planning & Zoning Board. He reported the Council felt that
after the Committee was picked they would have to follow the code on
decisions. Except for real hardship cases. Glen said he was not
aware of anything more needed from the counci]_.
Chuck reported that the City Council had passed on the project of a
variance for the Breck Parkinson property.
