T'rie members of the commission made suggestions and discussed t:e issue at length. Comments were ask. for from t~:e visitors at the meeting. vrs. Bon Z~Iy1ie told tle commission that they 'lad hoped to make their area into a trailer pare as an income for their retirement, and teat t~ley planned to fix it up and meet all the requirements from the city, if they were allowed to ldeep the trailers there . Scott Blackham said that he got file feeling from the other meetings that the people ti`lat were agairsst the trailer overlay were just the people in that area a ~ t~lat we hadn't gotten a true feeling from tree people all over town. A motion was made by Charles Coie, as follows: Becare the Flood emergency over and enforce ail provisions of t.le 1974 mobile i~ome Ordinance #548, ammended as follows: 1. Permit only double wide mobile ~~omes in R-2, R-3 and Commercial zones oil a permanent masorary foundation. All other zoning regulations and building permit requirements must Le met. Commercia zone occupants .must meet R-3 zoning regulations. 2. Some of the Commission members '_~ad ot'r:er committments and the hour was late so the Petition for the Rexburg Freights Annexing was discussed slightly, iiarie was asked to mai<e copies of the petition. and send to each of the P.~ Z.
