the Mayor felt that ;,,e s?lould have a hearing and make that one block Commercial.
Mayor Porter told the Commission of a group wanting to fence the Rexburg Canal. He
said"he told them to check is;ith the irrigation people to see how far the fence would
need to be set back, and to see what their feelings kiere. .The Mayor felt the P & Z
should be aware of this.
~• Jim Keller & Chuck Frost plan to meet with the City Coucil on their next meeting night
on the Trailer overlay and explain their feelings and the area of the City they feel
should be designated as such, and to discuss a plan of action, also the problem of the
abendonded homes in town. Moved by Dan Hess , seconded by Jim Keller, also to discuss
new zoning ordinance. All Aye.
Jim Keller told the commission that he had been chairman of the board for six years
and felt like he should step down and let some one .else take over. He asked to be
released as chairman.
Bob Purrington said he would like to resign as Vine Chairman.
Nominations were opened for a new chairma. Bob Purrington recommended that Chuck
Frost be named as Chairman. Seconded by Glen Pond. All Aye. Nominations ceased.
Dan Hess moved that Bob Purrington remain as Vice Chairman, Seconded by "Lary Lee
Hill. All Aye.
It was moved by Bob Purrington that Marie Hathaway stay as secretary, seconded by Jim
Keller. -..All Aye.
Jim Keller thanked everyone for being so willing to serve and he appreciated all
their help while he had been chairman.
.Dan Hess marred that we adjourn, seconded by Charles Cole.
