Those Present: Jim Keller - Chairman. Charles Cole Jim F 1 anon Glen Pond Bob Purrington Chuck Frost Mary Lee Hill Dan Hess ~~ I• Also present: Marie Hathaway, Secretary The minutes of January 28 meeting were read and approved. Chuck Frost reconunended that the Benfields be allowed to go .ahead and put in curb and driveway, subject to the existing easements as platted. Seconded by Chuck Frost. All Aye. Max Mortensen from Quality Pak was in attendance, he asked to be allowed to place a single wide trailer on the property formerly owned by Ronald Janson to be West of Rexburg Floral. He said it would probably be used for some one to live in. The Commission discussed it at length. Charles Cole reconunended that Mr. Mortensen's request be denied until a study could be made of the trailers that are already on property in the city, and the feelings of people in the area. Seconded Bob Purrington. There will be a-study made of the issue and be brought up at our next meeting. Marie was asked to check with the neighbors in the area for their feeling on the situation. Jim Keller said that the Mayor was asking the Planning & Zoning Commissions feelings about the Trailer overlay. Marie was asked to get a map from Forsgren & Perkins and to make a windshield tour of the city and mark on it where trailers were parked designating those that had been placed on foundations and those that had not, also the old abanded houses. Jim Keller said to notify the newspapers that the commission had a couple of issues to cover at our next meeting .and if they would call him, he would explain what they were. Jim Flamm moved that the meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Charles Cole. All Aye. Aleeting adjourned at 8:45.
