for the next Planning and Zoning meeting.
2. Reed Larson had earlier asked the City Council for some type of zoning
that would allow him to develop an area south of the City Golf Course
and in the city limits where horses could be kept. It was suggested that
if he is still interested in pursuing that proposal, he should submit a
plan designating the area involved, with a list of those who would want
it in the area. Also, the property owners should be contacted in the
surrounding area.
3. Roger Harris was present representing the Golden Valley Development, to
further discuss the proposed development of Silverwood Tlobile Home
Estates (on 100 South between 400 6~est and railroad tracks.) According
to the zoning ordinance, a trailer park connot be developed on less than
2 acres and a laundry facility must be provided for residents of park.
Mr. Harris' property is only 1.76 acres and he wants a vaiance of the
land requirement as well as the required laundry facility.
He presented the lease form to be used by renters also. He intends to
put a dumpster for garbage along 1st South and he agreed to have Lot ik8
as a storage area though he questioned its necessity. Harris said the
City was libel to move the fire hydrant so he could straighten entrance
into the mobile home park.
