HomeMy WebLinkAboutP&Z MINUTES OCTOBER 17, 1972MINUTES OF REXBURG PLANNING BOARD OCTOBER.. 17, 1972 MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman-Larry Perkins, Lenore Passey, Councilman Glen Peterson, Max Brinton, Leonard Longhurst and Wood Miller Blair Manwaring and Gale Weber. Minutes of September 19th were read by Leonard Longhurst and approved. A report was made by Blair Manwaring and Max Brinton in regards to their meeting with Mr. Goebel, the State Fire Rating Board, per- taining to fire zones. Mr. Manwaring recommended three fire zones. A motion was made by Gale Weber that the Board recommend the fire zones as submitted by Blair Manwaring and his committee. The map will be known as the, i'Official Fire Zone Map of Rexburgtr, and to be submitted to the City Council for hearings and approval. A Vote of the Board was unamious. A report was made by Councilman Glen Peterson in regards to a traffic flow study. He stated that Police Chief Blair Siepert and his staff was making a study and a report will be presented at our next meeting. A motion was made by Blair Manwaring that we submit the pro- posed Master Street Plan to the City Council for their approval and to set a date for public hearings. Seconded by Glen Peterson. A vote of the board was unamious. Lenore Passey made a report in regards to a new Mobile Dome Ordinance. Chairman Perkins asked Lenore Passey and her Committee to prepare a new new ordinance, a suggested date for completion was 60 days. The Board read and reviewed the Declaration of Covenants as proposed by the Professional Plaza Group. A dis- cussion followed and the Board affirmed our recommendation as stated in our letter to the Mayor and Council of August 28, 1972. Meeting adjourned at 10:30 P,M.
