Present: Lenore Pa~ssey, Larry Perkins, Blair ~Ianwaring, Max Brinton,
Glenn Peterson and Leonard Longhurst,
Minutes of previous board meetirFg read and approved,
A letter from the Mayor and City .Council was read informing the board on
actions being initiated or investigated by the Council regarding planning
matters, The letter also thanked the board far its works
A discussion was held in regards to the sign code and a sign being
planned in the Jolley - Eames and Peterson professional Nall, Tt was stated
that part of this sign t~ri_ll be an city property. It was stated that this is in
vialation of city ordinancesc
A motion was made by Larr~r Perkins and seconded by Lenore Passey that
chs.irmar. Wilding and Lenore Passey prepare a revision to our present
building zoning regulations and present it to our next board meeting,
stating that anyone abtainii~z~ a, lirr~ited commercial permit that the canstructi on
conform to the zone in wrich they builds

A vote of the board was unanimous
~iax Brinton stated ths,t Jack Covington wanted information on his
property located at lst forth and 5th T~Test, It was suggested he present a
plot plan of his suggested planes
A discuss~_on was held in regards of recommending further riew streets.
A map brill be prepared and presented to the City Councils
A plot plan was presented to the Board by I~Zax Brinton on plans of Vaughn
~-Iunter for removing the old home on his property and far construction of a 2 unit
student housing addition, this also wi11 have laundry facilities The Board recom~n-

A discussion was held in regards to the Starlite and Park View additionso
It was suggested the City Council try to secure a street from South Ad es to
Park Street - using lot 17 Park View addition.
It was recommended the board examine and study a new mobile home and trailer
ordinance.

The following actions are being initiated or investigated
pursuant to your recommendations of April 11.

2. Council agrees with your recommendation for annexing south
hiway property and zoning commercial. The necessary steps
have been initiated,
3. Excavation ordinance will be passed at next{.meeting.
4. Your suggestions for terms of members were approved by council.

5. Plans are being formulated for a continuing anti-litter
program.
The Mayor and~Council wish to express their appreciation to
all members of the planning board for the good work they are doing.
