PLANNING BOARD MEETING
December 8, 1971 •
7:30 p.m.
Present: DeWayne Wilding, Lenore Passey, Larry Perkins, Wood Miller,
Bernice Burkett
Minutes of the October I3 meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Garnet Lewis appeared before the Board requesting rezoning of
the area in which he has purchased property at the corner of 5th West
and 2nd South. It was suggested to Mr. Lewis that he wait until a
decision on the highway route is made before any action is taken.
It was suggested that the Zoning Board have access to that portion
of the City Council Meeting Minutes which per-~ain to discussion or
action taken on the Zoning & Planning Board proposals to the City Council.
Larry Perkins made a motion to this effect and Lenore Passey seconded the
motion. A vote of the Board was unanimous.
The meeting adjourned at 9 p.m.
