Chairman Keith Zollinger, H. bV. Jacobsen,. John L. Clarke, Mark Seipert,
Laura Ashliman, Mayor Fred Smith, Clyde Packer, Bryce Orton. ~ ~'
~da;~or Fred Smith requested that Jo'nn L. Clarke and Clyde Packer, whaea term
expired this year, remain on the .Board for another year. Both expressed their
willingness to serve for another year.
Clyde Packer reviewed the Recreation Rapart as follows:
1• It was reported that we have only 2C acres of playground area, and
suggested that we Head at least ~+0 acres. Tt was the peeling of the
board that the report was in error when you consider the school grounds
and the golf course.
2. It was suggested that the street between the schools ( Ist west)
be closed. `
3. The report felt that the au~~~er recreational program was dwindling
away and suggested steps be taken to revive it.
. ~+. The following organization, to head the Recreational Program was
suggested by the report: ,_

b. 1 rnamber from the school Board
c. 3 laymen

6. It was felt that there was need
as such overlapping as possible

Edward L. Powell had submitted a raqu:~st to the Planning Board that they make.
suJg-estions for the awing of the streets in the :Haw Powell Subdivision. After
some discussion it was suggested that they be named after tit~ee (suggested
ware Ash, ~ap1e, Birch,~Im, Linden, Oak),
