Mr. Powell pr4snnted a new plait of his nropased developement sout^ of the
hospital for arnrcval. he anr4 ~1r. Painter pointed out the ad-
v~,ntag~s of t~1e new street arrangements ovar he straight grid
system used in preparing the old Platt. This Platt has the approval of
the FHA w?:ereas th;~ old ene did not.. ~1r. Powell felt that part
of the project would be developed th_.s year. Pres. Clark moved
that the P.B. give approval to the nRw Platt--seconded by H.ki. Jacobsen
--approval voted by thA board.
Committee appointments were discussed and it was decided the chairman should make
the appointmAnts at the next meAting. ~.
The proposed oiling of the city streets from curb to curb was discussed. All
preser_t wero favorable to the proposal and fAlt teat the present
was probably the opportune time to do it. It was suggAsted that more
information bm obtained from the ^ity council an the cost and methdd
of hanc~.ling the bond issues.
It was dAcided to postc~one the discussion cf the new Recreational purvey until
next meeting in order that k~rr. y acker could be present and give
a repor on it.
• It was suggAstPd that ~x~~sZan~ work b~ continued on the. dividing
of sonic of the city blocks.
It was thought that that work should be done trawards making a master plan
cf possibly futurA city dQvnlopements.
