• Minutes of the last meeting read and approved.
H. Jacobsen„reported that he had contacted Harry
Graham about the ne~a armoury bldg. Mr. Graham said that
Capt. Brooks when in town selleted a site and received
a deed far it ens was now in Wash. D, C. working on t'r_e

All present felt that it was a problem need3:ng attention
and t~;.at the city r~ig~,t be forced to do srmethin~; ~~bo~.t
it by the state cr federal gav'ts before too long.
Pres. Clarke volunteered to secure mare information on
this matter, and to see if federal funds were availabl;g
for such a project.
H. Jacobsen felt that the highway departr~.ent
should be contacted concerning a neutral zone or
~.sland to be placed on the highway corner of main and ?nds
west st. to facilitate the crossing of main street by
northbound traffic.
OthQr matters discussed as possible projects were:
Fluoridation, city ditches, new well for water s~Tstem, and
• opening of reads to divide none of the city blocks. .From
these discuss~cns it was decided to review the Benton
report and see if the ditch prc~,lem could be alleviated in
some degree, Nark Siepert ~.ras to review the report and
brir_g suggestions for the next p.b.m. All members were ',
to look about for bloc_Fs that looked ~ as if they could
be divided sometime in the future, and report on them next
time.
