:4iayor Smith reported his conversation with. Abner `~iddison concerning
the right-of=.aay for. continuation of Harvard Ave. through his b:Lock, fir.
4~iddison refused to come down from his $1;.C0E~.OC price. After discussing the
value of the 5t} foot frontage of Mae ididdisont s and the i0 foot belonging
to Fowlers it was decided to send registered letters to all Property owners
concerned with. the right-of-way informing them of a meeting next ~iond~,y,
June 22, at 8t0i; F4~~io in the city hall to decide the issue.
H. W. Jacobsen made the recommend~.tion that the proposed zoning ordinance
now be passed on to the city council with the recommendation that necessary
steps be taken to make it into an ordinance. Seconded by Mark Siepert and
approved unanimously by a voice vote.
Clyde Factcer read the enclosed recommendation which was approved by all
present.
A delegation representing the planning board for Sugar City was present at
the fore part of the meeting to gain infortt~ation concerning the proposed zoning
ordinance.
