Meeting of the rexburg planning board held on the
above date at the utah power and light office. D.G.
taylor chairman presiding. The following members were
present. Ralph a parker, Lee Browning, Alma Klingler and Dabell.
A committee representing the Rexburg Lions club met with
the planning committee to report on the installation of
parking meters. They recommended the installation of parking
meters at the earliest possible time. They explained
that they should help to relieve the parking situation providing
the parking regulations was strictly enforced.

Thompson, brent sutherland and dean kinckley.
It was moved by Ralph a parker, second by lee browning, that
the lions blub recommendation be accepted and refered to
the city counsel for their consideration, carried.
it was moved by alma klingler, second by ralph a parker that
we recommend to the Mayor and city council a more rigid enforcement
of our city ordinances, such as, parking of cars and
punishment of violators, a more rigidcheck and punishment of
juvenile drivers. it was reported a number of instances of boys,
from nine to twelve years of age driving trucks and cars on
our streets, this practice should be stopped . motion also included
a more rigid check and enforcement of bbguns, flippers, and
other destructive weapons which are being used by boys who
seem to make a practice of killing birds and destroying property
in our city.
there being no further business to come before the meeting
