City of Rexburg Public Gathering/Parade Permit
Public gathering permit application for events in a public street or venue that will have an impact
on the public.
Reference: Ordinance 759 & Ordinance 810 - An application for a permit shall be filed with the City Clerk at least
FORTY-FIVE days (45) and not more than one year before the parade or public assembly is proposed to commence. An
"Expedited Application Fee" of $25.00 will be added if received less than 21 days prior to the event

Any other gatherings in the same area at the same time are not to be disturbed.
With the issuance of the permit, the applicant is responsible for the crowd control. If any disturbances of any sort
occur; the City of Rexburg Police Department has the right to revoke this permit at any time.
Upon notification of permit approval, Payment for services due seven (7) calendar days prior to the
event, or the event may be canceled.
If damage or excessive cleanup is needed to restore city property back to its previous condition, you may be billed
restoration fees.

Parking for buses will be through northeast entrance to Madison Fairgrounds.
Parking for cars will be at the Nature Park and Rexburg Center Stake building.
Course will be marked and flagged to keep spectators from interfering with runners.
No police help is necessary. As in the past, we ask the permit fee be waived.
Hundreds of people will be buying gas, eating at restaurants, and/or shopping at
Rexburg businesses because of this event.Thank you.

Additional fees may be added if City Services are needed for an event. Additional costs will be calculated during
the City approval process.
Police- 1 officer $64 per hour
Fire Crew- $300 per hour
Ambulance Crew- $200 per hour
Public Works- Dependent on service

Extra Garbage- $6.75 per 90 Gal Cont + $30 Delivery Chrg
