I understand and agree to comply with the regulations as listed on the attached sheet. It is understood that this permit will be filed with the City Clerk prior to getting approval from the City Council. The City Council meets on the first (1st) and third (3rd) Wednesday of every month, unless there are unforeseen

FIREWORKS STAND PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
1. The permit will be displayed in public view at the location listed on the permit.
2. The Name, Address, and Telephone Number of the LOCAL operator as well as the subcontractor or owner,
shall be posted within the fireworks booth.
3. Age of seller at stand must be 16 or older.
4. Fireworks cannot be sold in an established dwelling.
5. The permit shall be nontransferable.
6. A stand shall not be located within twenty-five (25) feet of any building or within one hundred (100) feet of
the nearest fuel dispensing device.
7. A stand shall have two (2) exits, each a minimum of thirty (30) inches wide at each end of the stand or as
near the end as is practical in a mobile home conversion. One (1) additional door is required for each thirty-two
(32) feet of rear wall in excess of thirty-two (32) feet. All doors shall open outward from the stand and shall be
kept unlocked and unlatched during the hours of operation and free and clear of supplies and materials at all
times.

8. A stand shall have at least two (2) fire extinguishers with a 2A minimum rating, in good working order, with a
current inspection tag in place, placed near the exits in a visible and readily accessible manner.
(IFC 2009, 906.6,7,9.1 – Extinguishers must be hung, unobstructed, and the top no more than 5 ft. high and the
bottom no less than 4” from floor.)
9. “No Smoking within 25 feet” signs shall be prominently displayed on all four (4) sides of the stand. Smoking
shall not be permitted inside the stand.
10. The fireworks stand operator shall not permit the discharge of fireworks within twenty five (25) feet of the
stand.
11. The stand operator shall not allow any rubbish to accumulate in or around the stand causing a fire
nuisance.
12. If a stand is operating on a dirt or gravel surface, the fireworks stand operator/owners may be responsible
for the clean-up of dirt and debris tracking onto city streets by their customers’ vehicles.
13. Fireworks shall not be left in the stand when the stand is not open for business unless the stand is locked or
secured. If fireworks are not stored in the stand, they shall be stored in compliance with section 39-2608, Idaho
code.
A. Additional inspection items:
Proper use of extension cords (i.e. not running across the parking lot where cars can drive over them)
* Good housekeeping
* Generators should be out of traffic but placed behind the stand so as not to become a fire hazard
* 1 non-combustible trash can with lid for damaged inventory
* Old electrical wiring that is not being used needs to be removed
