MUIR Fee: 0.00 Ex-Officio Recorder Deputy ORDINANCE NO. 13 'J#6 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO 1025 COMMUNITY SAFETY LIGHTING IMPLEMENTATION AND ASSESSMNETS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the City of Rexburg has established criteria for the approved method of street light installation in Resolution No. 2022 - 07 City of Rexburg Engineering Standards; and WHEREAS, the City of Rexburg shall terminate the extension of Ordinance No. 1025 effective at the beginning of Fiscal Year 2026. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the City of Rexburg, in the State of Idaho, as follows: SECTION I: Repeal in the Municipal Code Sections: 1. 8.1i.olo Community Safety Lighting Established 2. 8.11.020 Criteria and Standards 3. 8.11.030 Costs 4. 8.11.040 Where Minimum Lighting Standards Not Met 5. 8.11.050 Service Charges Assessment 6. 8.1i.o6o Computation of Charges SECTION II: Amendment in the Municipal Code to read, "Chapter 8.11 Community Safety Lighting" The criteria and specifications for community street lighting in the City of Rexburg is governed by Engineering Standards set forth by resolution from the current edition of the Idaho Standards for Public Works Construction and Supplemental Conditions adopted by the City of Rexburg as well as any additions, amendments, or addenda established by the City Engineer as minimum standards. SECTION III: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
