Summary of Information to consider with this request:
The request applies to 2 lots that total approximately 14.24 acres.
The current zone of the northern most parcel is Light Industrial (LI) while the current zone for the southern parcel is Medium Density Residential 2 (MDR2).
The northern parcel is adjacent to the highway. Land across the highway is zoned by Sugar City. The middle parcel will retain the Medium Density Residential 2 (MDR2) zoning. The surrounding
parcels are zoned Transitional Agriculture (TAG).
A total of 12 hearing notifications were mailed to surrounding property owners.
Pending public testimony, staff asks that the Planning & Zoning Commission consider recommending that City Council approve the application.
