Key Findings
Respondents generally recognize police facility needs. The leading considerations for any
future proposal are affordability, scope, and accountability.
Awareness of the prior proposal is high
Property tax burden is a primary concern
Confidence in City project delivery and oversight is mixed; transparent controls matter
Total Responses: 824 responses (538 completed, 286 partial)
96% are registered voters and 68% voted in the November 2025 election
84% are homeowners
Results are statistically significant with 95% confidence and estimated 4.1% margin of
error
Survey Period: January 5 to January 18, 2026
Purpose:
Improve understanding of community needs and preferences
Evaluate public opinion regarding a vote to support the project
Methodology: Online survey distributed to residents via text, other digital channels, and
through community partnerships
