RE: ORDINANCE 757 ZONING LAIRD PROPERTY & RIGBY/MORRELL PROPERTY TOPIC: (19,23,ORD,757,ZONING,LAIRD PROPERTY,RIGBY/MORRELL PROPERTY) Mayor Boyle read Ordinance 757 zoning the Laird property and the Rigby Morrell property. ORDINANCE NO. 757 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CHANGING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO, AND PROVIDING THAT THE ZONED DESIGNATION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, SITUATE IN REXBURG, MADISON COUNTY, IDAHO, WHICH HAS NOT PREVIOUSLY BEEN ZONED, BE ZONED AS HEREINAFTER DESIGNATED; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. The zoning on the property would be LDR1. A motion was made by councilman Kay Beck and seconded by Jim Flamm that the rules requiring an ordinance of a general and permanent nature to be read on three occasions be dispensed with and that said ordinance be numbered 757. Those voting aye: Kay Beck Farrell Young Glen Pond Jim Flamm Those voting nay: none Ordinance 757 was then placed before the council. The mayor then called for the voting for final passage of the ordinance, and the motion was made by Glen Pond and seconded by Jim Flamm that ordinance 757 be passed. Those voting aye: Kay Beck Farrell Young Glen Pond Jim Flamm Those voting nay: none The roll showed all councilmen present voting "Aye" carried, the Mayor declared that the majority of all the members of the city council had voted for the passage of said ordinance was duly and regularly passed. Mayor Boyle declared the motion carried. RE: ORDINANCE 758 - ANNEXATION OF VILLAGE GREEN TRAILER COURT - 1ST READING TOPIC: (19,23,ORD,758,ANNEXATIONS,VILLAGE GREEN TRAILER COURT, TRAILER COURTS) Ordinance 758, Annexation of Village Green Trailer Court. ORDINANCE NO. 758 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TU THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO DESCRIBING SAID LANDS AND DECLARING SAME A PART OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO; AND AMENDING THE CHANGING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO, AND THE MADISON COUNTY-REXBURG COMPREHENSIVE PLAN 2000 TO SHOW SUCH ANNEXATION AND THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE SAME UNDER THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REXBURG, IDAHO; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. The mayor had talked to Kay Baker today. He has an 80 foot strip in the trailer court that he is thinking about putting in a R.V. park. The way the pre-annexation agreement is he can't do anything else without out complying with the Mobile Home Ordinance. J. D. Hancock stated that it is permitted in the Mobile Home Ordinance, but he will have to comply with that ordinance. The council felt we should hold off and just do the first reading. A motion was made by Glen Pond to approve the ordinance for the first reading only. Seconded by Jim Flamm. All Aye
