City and County would share in any final subsidy and split any potential profits raised.
250th Anniversary Celebration
Current Budget for Idependence Day shows expense of $40,000 and revenues of $30,000 with net subsidy from
City of $10,000. See Exhibit. This Budget Adjustment would allow us to seek a contract with an "A list" country
artist. Seeking approval to offer contract to Russell Dickerson for up to $225,000 with Lee Brice as second option.
City Staff would continue to seek contributions and grants to lower the potential subsidy for the City and County. The
