The mo dular building unit when assembled in the facto ry meets the code requirements for the mo dular building unit o nly, as the
p lans were submitted to the Idaho Divisio n o f Occupatio nal and Professio nal Licenses (IDOP L).
S ectio n 1 1 0.5 , 20 1 8 IB C. Inspection requests. It shall be the duty of the holder o f the building p ermit o r their duly authorized
agent to no tify the building o ffici al when work is ready for inspection. It shall be the duty o f the permit ho lder to provide access
to and means fo r insp ectio ns o f such wo rk that are required by this code. (see sectio n 1 1 0.3 201 8 IBC. for required inspectio ns)
The Notice to Local Enforcement Agency (N.L.E.A.) fo rm o utlines possible code required/permitted wo rk that requires site
comp letio n. The N.L.E.A. fo rm is a comp o nent o f the Idaho app roved mo dular building plan submittal. The N.L.E.A. fo rm
sho uld be reviewed by the local jurisdiction fo r info rmatio n regarding the installatio n of the mo dular building o n-site.

that are no t in co mplian ce with the approved con struction docum ents sh all be resubmitted for appro val as an am ended set of
construction documents. Resubmittal may be required fo r any reaso n at the inspector’s discretion.
S ectio n 1 1 0.1 , 20 1 8 IB C. Appro val as a result o f an insp ectio n shall not be construed to be an ap p ro val o f a violation of the
p rovisions o f the code o r o f o ther ordinances of the jurisdiction. Inspectio ns p resuming to give autho rity to violate o r cancel the
p rovisio ns o f this code o r o f other o rdinances o f the jurisdictio n shall not be valid.
The lo cal jurisdiction may reques t an IDOP L ap p roved set of the modular p lans for verific ation o f any jurisdictio nal codes and
regulation requirements.
It is up to the lo cal jurisdictio n to ensure co mp lete co de co mp liance and app roval fo r lo cal site installatio ns, to include but not
limited to ; all site wo rk, exact location fro m lo t lines and sep aration distances fro m o ther structures, structural stability and any
fire assembly requirements that may be required by the 201 8 IB C. for the co mplete project.
"P lanning and Zoning" is no t part o f the modular building plan review.
Co de required insp ections for the constructio n o f the modular building in the facto ry shall be perfo rmed by the applicable
insp ector(s) and in accordance with the IDOP L app roved plan submittal and all Idaho ado p ted codes.
It is the responsibility of the owner the design p rofessionals and the co ntracto r to ensure co mplete code co mpliance fo r this pro ject.
Any lack of informatio n, questio ns o r deviations shall be bro ught to the attention of the registered design pro fessio nal o f record
fo r appro val.
F inal ap p ro val o f all code co mpliance fo r this project will be based upo n the 201 8 IBC through field inspections, verifications and
appro val by the field insp ecto rs.
