Subject: Fire Plan
I will break my concerns out into two separate areas, the water pond and access:
Water Pond:
* By simple math, the gallonage is there.
* Will there be water in the winter? A. The pond will have a liner and will have water in it year-round
* Winter time around here it is not uncommon to get 10” or more of ice on the ponds, this would greatly diminish your supply. A. The pond is in excess of three times the 120 minutes
of 250 gallons per minute run time of 30,000 gallons
* What about edges sluffing off making it shallower, Vegetation in the pond? A. No vegetation in the pond
* Where will the pump be placed? What is the access point to it? A pump used for fire suppression is required to have a backup power source? A. there will be two access points for
fire hoses north and south sides of the property also there will be a 120,000KW backup generator on-site
* All the fire suppression will need to be certified by an engineer. A. once a plan is approved will get this engineered
Access:
we have access gates on both the north and the south of the site you can see those on the updated site plan. we have also established a route for the fire trucks to use in case of a
fire emergency photo uploaded for visual
