HomeMy WebLinkAboutPZ Amend Development Code -Ord 1200 Setbacks, Daycare, Landscaping, Parking, Family, Plat Names Amendments August 21, 2025 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND THE DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR THE CITY OF REXBURG Public Hearing: August 21, 2025, at 6:30 pm to be held before the Rexburg Planning and Zoning Commission at 35 N 1st E, Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho (25 00575) to amend the current DEVELOPMENT CODE (Ordinance 1200) for the City of Rexburg. It is proposed to amend the current DEVELOPMENT CODE concerning substantive and non-substantive items in regard to setbacks, daycares, landscaping, parking, family/congregate living, and plat names. All proposed modifications to the DEVELOPMENT CODE may be reviewed at the offices of Planning and Zoning or the City Clerk’s office. The proposed substantive changes amending Development Code Ordinance No.1200 (by section) are delineated below: PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE DEVELOPMENT CODE ORDINANCE NO. 1200 Amend 1.04.030 Conditional Use Permits Amend Chapter 2 Definitions Amend 3.02.060 Accessory Buildings (All Zones) Amend 3.02.090 Screening and Landscaping Amend Chapter 3.4 Parking Standards for All Zones Amend 3.08.010 Permitted Uses in Residential Zones Amend 3.08.020 Permitted Uses in Commercial Zones Amend 3.08.030 Permitted Uses in Other Zones Amend 4.00.040 Home Occupation Amend 4.00.060 Parking in Residential Zones Repeal 4.02.110 Parking, Loading and Access (RR2) Repeal 6.00.080 Parking Lot Orientation (Commercial) Repeal 6.01.100 Parking, Loading, and Access (CBC) Amend 9.01.040 Reduction in Parking for Dormitory (PED) Repeal 9.01.080 Changes in Ration (PED) Amend 10.03.020 Subdivision Submittal Amend 10.05.010 Plat Data Amend 10.08.040 Street Names Add 10.08.060 Subdivision Names Amend 10.09.020 Condominium At such hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and recommendations relative to such proposed permits. The City Clerk will also accept written comments at City Hall or email clerk@rexburg.org prior to 4:00 p.m. on August 20, 2025.
