REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS BEFORE COMMENCING
CONSTRUCTION, AND TO ASSURE THAT ALL PARTIES ARE AWARE OF ALL
REQUIREMENTS, REGARDLESS OF WHERE THE REQUIREMENTS OCCUR IN
THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, WHICH MIGHT AFFECT THE WORK OF THAT
PARTY. CONTRACTOR TO SUBMIT SHOP DRAWING AND MATERIAL AND FINISH
SAMPLES TO THE ARCHITECT FOR REVIEW.
2. AS PART OF THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO COORDINATE THE
WORK OF ALL SUB-CONTRACTORS, TRADES AND SUPPLIERS, THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL ENDEAVOR TO IDENTIFY AND NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT
OF ANY CONFLICTS BETWEEN THE WORK OF DIFFERENT PARTIES AT THE
EARLIEST POSSIBLE DATE SO AS TO ALLOW REASONABLE AND ADEQUATE
TIME FOR THE CONFLICT TO BE RESOLVED WITHOUT DELAYING THE WORK.
ALL DEVIATIONS FROM THAT WHICH IS REQUIRED BY THE CONTRACT
DOCUMENTS MUST BE APPROVED IN ADVANCE BY THE ARCHITECT.
3. THE ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS ESTABLISH THE FINISHED APPEARANCE
AND LOCATION OF EXPOSED ELEMENTS OF THE WORK OF ALL THE TRADES,
INCLUDING THAT WORK WHICH IS ILLUSTRATED PRIMARILY ON DRAWINGS OF
OTHER DISCIPLINES. QUANTITIES ARE TO BE PROVIDED AS SHOWN ON
DRAWINGS OF OTHER DISCIPLINES BUT LOCATIONS SHOWN ON OTHER
DRAWINGS ARE SCHEMATIC, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED ON THE
ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS. THE ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS TAKE
PRECEDENCE FOR THE FINISHED APPEARANCE AND EXACT LOCATION OF ALL
PARTS OF THE WORK.
4. CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY DIMENSIONS AND EXISTING CONDITIONS OF THE
SITE PRIOR TO START OF CONSTRUCTION. NOTIFY ARCHITECT OF ANY
DISCREPANCIES AND A CLARIFICATION WILL BE ISSUED.
5. VERIFY THAT ALL WORK CONFORM WITH THE GOVERNING BUILDING CODES
LISTED ON THIS SHEET AS WELL AS THE REQUIREMENTS AND REGULATIONS
OF THE LOCAL MUNICIPALITY.
6. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CORRECTION OF WORK AT HIS OWN
EXPENSE FOR WORK COMPLETED THAT WAS NOT DONE IN COMPLIANCE
WITH THESE DOCUMENTS AND BUILDING CODE.
7. VERIFY THE LOCATION OF ALL PLUMBING RUNS, MECHANICAL DUCTS, AND
VENT OPENINGS WITH MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR PRIOR TO POURING THE
SLAB. ACCESS PANELS TO BE PROVIDED AND INSTALLED BY CONTRACTOR AS
REQUIRED. LOCATION TO BE APPROVED BY ARCHITECT.
8. PROVIDE NECESSARY STIFFENERS, BLOCKING, BRACING, HANGERS, ETC.
FOR ALL CABINETRY, EQUIPMENT, FURNISHINGS, TOWEL BARS, OR OTHER
ITEMS.
9. FLASHING AND COUNTER FLASHING IS TO BE PROVIDED AT ALL
NECESSARY LOCATIONS AS PER BUILDING CODE. THESE LOCATIONS
INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE CONNECTION OF A ROOF WITH A
VERTICAL SURFACE, EXTERIOR OPENINGS, IN-PLANE MATERIAL CHANGES,
ROOF VALLEYS AND RIDGES, CONNECTIONS BETWEEN HORIZONTAL AND
VERTICAL SURFACES, ETC.
10. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION TO CONFORM TO THE 2018 INTERNATIONAL

11. THE HVAC SYSTEM SHALL HEAT & COOL UNIFORMLY THROUGHOUT
OFFICE AREA IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2018 INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL

101, SECTION 38.3.5 AND PLACED AS PER NFPA 10.

CUSTOM SKIP TROWELED FINISH WHERE SPECIFIED ON PLANS. COORDINATE FINISH WITH
ARCHITECT.
PAINTING
CONTRACTOR TO SUBMIT PAINTING DROPDOWN SAMPLES TO ARCHITECT FOR VERIFICATION
AND APPROVAL IN WRITING PRIOR TO FABRICATION.
