Josh,
We received the first flood plain permit application and Shauna used it to create the other 9.
I need some additional information before I can issue the permits:
-I need clarification of the proposed finish floor of each of the 10 clusters of buildings. The attached plan, that was attached to the first permit, shows the finished floor of the
buildings as 4870.67 and 4870.17. But I’m unsure whether that is in the 1929 or 1988 datum. If those elevations are in 1929 datum, then the floors are well above the base flood elevation
of 4867.2 ft (1929). But if those elevations are in 1988 datum, the floors are not at least 1 ft above the base flood elevation as required. And those elevations don’t match the elevation
you entered on the first permit (4669.90).
-I need details of the proposed anchoring of the buildings. Any structures within the flood plain must be anchored to prevent floating, collapse, or lateral movement.
- Do you have a shop drawing, plan, or sketch of the buildings? I need some details on the size and type of buildings to be constructed.
