Motion to accept Budget Calendar and Meeting Times
CIP and new position requests due by March 17
Complete workmans comp billing and post to February & roll fwd
March 5 Wed.6:30 PM Regular Council Meeting
Review and Finalize Budget Calendar if not done earlier
Set Public Hearing date (by motion) for Budget (July 16, 2025) at 6:30 PM
Notify County Clerk by April 30th of the Budget Public Hearing Date
Review City Council Drive-around date- Friday April 11th at 9 AM
Set Mayor & Council Salaries on odd years to take effect on Jan 1 of even year
Recommend Public Hearing May 7th at 6:30 PM. Advertise April 15 & 22
Set Proposed Cost of Living Adjustment (Jan to Jan-2.42%)
Start Payroll Budgeting-7% increase on health recommended/review allocations
March 17 Monday 5:00 PM CIP and new position requests due from respective departments
April 4 Friday Redo forecasts using 6 months of data
Roll forecasts to Proposed Budget
Complete Payroll Budget
May 1 Wed Budget screen & printouts available for year-to-date
expenditures vs. budget as of March 31 (1st 6 months) and forecast of year end totals

CFO and Mayor will meet with individual department Heads first
