This letter is in response to plan review comments received in relation to this project. All items have been corrected and
updated as noted herein and as shown in the attached Drawings.
Please contact our office if any items remain unclear and we will work to clarify and correct them as soon as possible.

1.01. Sheet G001
A. Special Inspector needs to be identified as per Section 1704.2.1.
Response
A note indicating that the identity of the special inspection agency and its certifications needs to be delivered to the
city for review and approval has been added to this Sheet.
B. Engineered truss plans to be approved by building Design Professional.
Response
This note has been added to the Deferred Submittal Schedule on this Sheet.
1.02. Sheet G101
A. [Replace "State of Utah" with] "City of Rexburg".
Response
This note has been corrected.
1.03. Sheet C111
A. Landings at doors and cross slope of sidewalks not to exceed 2%.
Response
The Grading and Drainage Plans currently have a note that addresses the maximum slope at building landings. A
General Note has been added to Sheets C111 and C112 referring to that note.
A General Note has also been added to Sheets C111 and C112 indicating the requirement about cross slopes of
sidewalks.

1.04. Sheet A505
A. Suspended ceiling to be installed to manufacturers specifications.
Response
Because general requirements for all ceiling types are noted on Sheet A151 Reflected Ceiling Plan, a General Note
indicating this requirement has been added to that Sheet and not Sheet A505.
1.05. Sheet A610
A. Panic hardware to be installed as per Section 1010.1.10.
Response
This note has been added to the General Door Notes on this Sheet.
1.06. Sheet F103
A. Exit lighting and Exit signs to comply with section 1008 and 1013.
Response
A note addressing the requirement for the exit signs has been added to this Sheet.
Because exit lighting is not addressed by the furnishing plans or details, the requirements for the emergency lighting
has been addressed by the electrical engineer on his sheets.
1.07. Sheet S101
A. Damp proofing and waterproofing to comply with Section 1805.
Response
A note indicating this requirement has been added to Sheet A110. See the attached revised Sheet.
B. Grade to slope 6' in first 10'.
Response
Site grading will be according to the civil and architectural drawings. Our typical detail has been updated to ensure
that is apparent.

Response
The correct codes were used in the design of this building, but the 2015 years were an oversight in those schedules.
They have been updated to match the calculations.
1.09. Sheet E100
A. All electrical work to comply with 2017 NEC.
Response
The electrical engineer has reviewed his work and has confirmed to us that the electrical design complies with 2017
NEC.
1.10. Sheet E110
A. Ensure all exit signs and emergency lighting complies with 1008 and 1013 of the 2018 IBC.

Response
The electrical engineer has reviewed these items and has confirmed to us that they comply with the sections of IBC
noted.
1.11. Sheet E603
A. For verification: 2017 NEC requires a minimum #4 copper conductor to grounding electrode. Please verify 2/0 is
desired.
B. Please verify amperage.
C. Please verify number of wires for this feeder.
Response
As clouded on sheet E603 we updated grounding wire size per city review and changed electrical feeder wire from
copper to aluminum, as shown on our Distribution Wiring Schedule.
