I will re-word the whole thing so that it's all in one email.
As a recap to our discussion during the construction of this meetinghouse, the fire sprinkler subcontractor needed to install several lines on the top of the mezzanine floor because
of the dry fire sprinkler system's requirements. Because the mezzanine will have maintenance people walking around once in a while, we feel that it is vital to cover those lines with
the OSB boxes so that they will not be damaged during maintenance. This is especially valuable since those lines go directly to a fire sprinkler head. If subject to any notable disturbance,
the fusible link could be broken and turn the fire sprinklers on. With the boxes built over these lines, this should minimize this risk.
The occupancy load of that space is very low. This type of space is typically very difficult to navigate and has ducts and other lines crossing access walkways, if they are even provided.
The space doesn't even require stairs. During a construction review meeting, we reviewed this situation with the owner and with the contractor, and the owner's maintenance representative
was included in the discussion. All agreed that the current construction is acceptable. Our professional opinion is that the mechanical access platform provides better access to this
equipment than code requires and is a safer situation than code requires, and that the only people who will ever access this space will be familiar with similar locations which have
some obstructions. The few people there will have enough understanding to safely exit the space in an emergency.

Our concern is if the Architect and Owner are ok with the potential tripping hazards in walkway of the mezzanine. We are concerned with the covers interfering with people’s ability
