HomeMy WebLinkAboutMadison Station 22-00795Cody, The substitute of the Exacor in place of the gypcrete was a field change. Per the Exacor’s literature, the assembly meets the requirement of a 1-hour rated assembly with the use of (1) layer of 5/8” gypsum board on the ceiling. The TJI joists typically have performed better than dimensional lumber, they use resilient channels and insulated the joists as well which improve the both the fire and sound performance as well. Based on the information from the manufacturer (stating they comply with UL L501), the assembly meets the design intent. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Sincerely, Brent
