HomeMy WebLinkAboutFW Fire rating larger penetrationsCody, Here is the attached correction approval for the shared walls where plumbing pipes didn’t fit in the plate. We followed this guide and Larry saw this last week during inspection at those locations. I sent Cody an email regarding the rating of the exterior wall Friday afternoon (they are closed Friday afternoons), I haven’t heard/received any comments back just yet. If I don’t hear from him this afternoon I will reach out to him tomorrow. The two examples are at a party wall where plumbing is fire caulked and sealed from inside one unit but then boarders another where left exposed. The 3rd is our SER cable penetrations with more ample space is it acceptable to fill those with rock wool and fire caulk? Please see attached photos for reference and let me know if there is anything else I can clarify. Thanks, Alex Lloyd Project Superintendent (208) 313-4453
