Ordinance (1030)
•No overnight parking on any city street from
2:00AM to 7:00AM
•Effective December 15th – March 1st
•Applies to all vehicles & personal property,
such as:
•Campers,
•Trailers,
•Other recreational vehicles
Policy & Procedure
•Monitor storm weather forecasts continually (10PM/4AM)
•Spray salt brine prior to storm arrival
•Once 2” of snow has accumulated, City crews plow all city streets that night
•By 10PM – All City Streets that night
•By 4AM – Primary Streets only that morning
•More efficient with less traffic and fewer cars parked on roadway.
•6PM cutoff time to contact contractors for hauling snow off for that night
•Salt/Sand applied at intersections, curves, and/or other troublesome sections of roadways as called out by police dept.
•Downtown sidewalks plowed at 1” accumulation
