Most of the Ambulance District expenses occur through the Operating Fund 17 and we would instead of invoicing and requesting a payment by check. begin to transfer funds internally to cover those expenses and then request an ACH payment from the Ambulance District Ambulance District Fund and treat it as a custodial fund and act in a fiduciary capacity in behalf of the Madison County The City already has a fund called the Ambulance Capital Replacement Fund. We would rename that fund the Madison County Ambulance District. We are required to pass a budget, but they are as well and the County Commissioners would still hold a Budget public hearing in behalf of the district each year.
