NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that on October 17, 2024, at 6:30 pm a Public Hearing will be
held before the Planning& Zoning Commission of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, at City Hall located
at 35 North 1" East, Rexburg, Idaho, regarding a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) (#24 00742) to
allow a caretaker residence in Light Industrial (LI) zone, per the Rexburg Development Code as a
Conditional Use. The said parcel is located at approximately 145 W 2nd N in Rexburg, Madison
County, Idaho, and more particularly described as follows:
Legal Description:
SITUATED IN THE STATE OF IDAHO, COUNTY OF MADISON, BEING PART OF LOTS 1 AND 2,
BLOCK 24, REXBURG TOWNSITE, SECTION 19,TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH, RANGE 40 EAST,OF B.M.BEING
MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LOT 2;THENCE NORTH 89°43'32" EAST,A
DISTANCE OF 127.66 FEET TO A REBAR WITH A PLASTIC CAP SET STAMPED, "PLS 13856" MARKING
THE POINT OF BEGINNING;THENCE NORTH 89°43'32" EAST,A DISTANCE OF 238.43 FEET TO A
REBAR WITH A PLASTIC CAP SET STAMPED, "PLS 13856" ON THE WEST RIGHT OF WAY OF THE
EASTERN IDAHO RAILROAD; THENCE SOUTH 30°07'22" WEST,A DISTANCE OF 352.46 FEET WITH
THE WEST RIGHT OF WAY OF SAID EASTERN IDAHO RAILROAD TO A REBAR WITH A PLASTIC CAP
SET STAMPED, "PIS 13856'; THENCE SOUTH 89°24'54" WEST,A DISTANCE OF 60.22 FEET TO A REBAR
WITH A PLASTIC CAP SET STAMPED, "PLS 13856'; THENCE NORTH 00°15'02" WEST,A DISTANCE OF
304.34 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
At such hearing the Planning& Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and
recommendations relative to such proposed permit. The City Clerk will also accept written
comments at City Hall or emailed to clerk&rexburg.org prior to 4:00 p.m. on October 16, 2024.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and all
amendments thereof.
