7. CONTRACTOR SHALL ISSUE WRITTEN NOTIFICATION TO ARCHITECT/AMERCO REPRESENTATIVE OF
ANY DISCREPANCIES AND FOLLOW UP IN WRITING WITHIN TWO WORKING DAYS OF INSPECTION.
8. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS AND CONDITIONS IN THE FIELD. IF DIMENSIONAL
ERROR OCCURS OR CONDITION NOT COVERED IN THE DRAWINGS IS ENCOUNTERED, CONTRACTOR
SHALL SUBMIT A CLARIFICATION REQUEST TO ARCHITECT/AMERCO REPRESENTATIVE AND OBTAIN
RESOLUTION BEFORE COMMENCING THAT PORTION OF THE WORK.
9. ALL MANUFACTURED ARTICLES, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT SHALL BE APPLIED, INSTALLED,
CONNECTED, ERECTED, USED, CLEANED, AND CONDITIONED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
MANUFACTURERS WRITTEN SPECIFICATIONS OR INSTRUCTIONS UNLESS HEREINAFTER SPECIFIED
10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUPERVISE AND DIRECT THE WORK, USING HIS BEST SKILL AND
ATTENTION. HE SHALL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CONSTRUCTION AND/OR INSTALLATION
MEANS, METHODS, TECHNIQUES, SEQUENCES, AND PROCEDURES AND FOR COORDINATING ALLBUILDING CODE ANALYSIS:
NATIONAL ACCOUNTS
11. DIMENSIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER SCALE ON CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
12. ALL WORK SHALL BE EXECUTED IN A NEAT AND WORKMANLIKE MANNER, ACCEPTABLE TO OWNER .
13. WHEN WORK NOT SPECIFICALLY CALLED OUT IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE PROJECT,
THE WORK SHALL BE PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH GENERAL NOTES 12, 14 AND 16.
14. CONTRACTOR SHALL GUARANTEE, IN WRITING, ALL WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS FOR A
PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION.
15. UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFICALLY NOTED, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AND PAY FOR ALL
LABOR, MATERIALS, EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY,
TRANSPORTATION, AND OTHER FACILITIES AND SERVICES NECESSARY FOR PROPER EXECUTION
16. THE CONTRACTOR WARRANTS TO AMERCO AND ARCHITECT/AMERCO REPRESENTATIVE THAT ALL
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT FURNISHED UNDER THIS CONTRACT WILL BE NEW UNLESS OTHERWISE
SPECIFIED, AND THAT ALL WORK WILL BE GOOD QUALITY FREE FROM FAULTS AND DEFECTS AND IN
CONFORMANCE WITH THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. ALL WORK NOT SO CONFORMING TO THESE
STANDARDS MAY BE CONSIDERED DEFECTIVE. IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT NO INFERIOR OR
NON-CONFORMING WORK OR MATERIALS WILL BE ACCEPTED WHETHER DISCOVERED AT THE TIME
THEY ARE INCORPORATED INTO THE WORK OR AT ANY TIME BEFORE OR AFTER THE FINAL
ACCEPTANCE. IF REQUIRED BY THE ARCHITECT OR AMERCO REPRESENTATIVE, THE CONTRACTOR
17. THE WARRANTIES AND GUARANTIES REQUIRED BY THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS SHALL BE IN
ADDITION TO AND NOT IN LIMITATION OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY OR GUARANTY OR REMEDY
REQUIRED BY LAW OR BY THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS.
18. CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE WITH AHJ, SPRINKLER CONTRACTOR, CIVIL ENGINEER AND
PLUMBING ENGINEER AS NEEDED FOR ALL BACKFLOW PREVENTER REQUIREMENTS. LOCATION
SHALL BE APPROVED BY OWNER PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OR FABRICATION.
