TO AMEND THE DEVELOPMENT CODE
FOR THE CITY OF REXBURG
Public Hearing CONTINUATION of July 18, 2024 Meeting_August 8, 2024, at 6:30 pm to
be held before the Rexburg Planning and Zoning Commission at 35 N 1"E,Rexburg,Madison
County,Idaho (#23 00958) to amend the current DEVELOPMENT CODE (Ordinance 1200) for
the City of Rexburg.
It is proposed to amend the current DEVELOPMENT CODE concerning substantive and
non-substantive items. All proposed modifications to the DEVELOPMENT CODE may be
reviewed at the offices of Planning and Zoning or the City Clerk's office. The proposed
substantive changes amending Development Code Ordinance No.1200 (by section) are
delineated below:

Amend 3.05.110 Location and Construction Standards
Amend 3.05.140 Freestanding Signs
Amend 3.05.190 Sign Specifications by Zone
Amend 3.02.050 Clear View of Intersecting Streets; Sight Triangle
Amend 3.02.100 Fencing Requirements
Amend 3.02.160 Sidewalk Requirements in All Zones

At such hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and
recommendations relative to such proposed permits. The City Clerk will also accept written
comments at City Hall or email clerk rexburg.org prior to 4:00 p.m. on August 7, 2024. This
notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6508, 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code,and
all amendments thereof.
